# Budgeting & Cost Management

### Overview

The Budgeting & Cost feature gives organization admins full visibility into AI spending across the organization and the controls to enforce it. As your organization uses AI-powered features such as copilots, recipes, and direct model interactions, every request incurs a cost based on the underlying model being used. Without spend controls in place, those costs can accumulate quickly and unpredictably.

This feature addresses that by providing two complementary capabilities: a real-time monitoring dashboard and an enforcement layer that proactively blocks requests once a configured limit is reached.
